All wines supplied by Gee's Wine Shop £10.00 entrance fee - All proceeds to Action Cancer 27 September 2011 Spanish Night The Foyle Valley Wine Club, the only club of its kind for local wine enthusiasts, bid ‘adios’ to the month of September with a real Spanish treat at Mandarin Karma restaurant. Marques de Caceres winery presented a portfolio of its wines. There was a good turnout from local wine enthusiasts at the invitation of local wine seller Eamonn Gee. Among the stars of the show were reds, 2004 Reserva Rioja, 2001 Gran Reserva and a 2006 Crianza. The 2004 Reserva Rioja demonstrated all that’s best with the signature Spanish region-good structure and complexity, through elegant with a fleshy beefy richness on the finish.
